One of the best activities of a pilot in the history of Formula 1 and motoring, is the one of Ayrton the Seine in the GP of Europe of 1993 in Donington Park, England. To 10 years of its physical disappearance, we want to remember the best moments of the race of the Brazilian, as a tribute.

In 1993, the Williams Renault was the quickest cars clearly. Almost invincible. For that reason nobody was surprised when seeing Saturday Alain Prost and Damon Hill releasing in first row. After them, the companions of always of that year: Michael Schumacher and his Benetton Ford, and Ayrton the Seine in its McLaren Ford. Fifth Karl Wendlinger in his Sauber appeared a surprising Austrian youngster doing his first arms in F1.
The morning of Sunday, rain fell heavy on Donington. This did not affect that the released one was practically disputed with normality. Prost was sent in end, followed of Hill. Wendlinger made an impression when jumping to the third position, since Schumacher had released badly and soon it had blocked to the Seine, avoiding that this passed it but not avoiding the passage of Wendlinger. In spite of losing a place, the return of the Brazilian would be unique. Wonderful. Unique.

It happened when coming out to Schumacher of the Redgate curve, and not spent nor fifteen seconds, wheel wheel was placed with the Sauber de Wendlinger in the Craver curve it advanced and it in the curve following of the circuit: the Old Hairpin. While they raised the small hill on which this constructed the English track, one approached Hill, that did not reach to react when it surpassed it to the Brazilian. And the three leaders, Prost, Hill and the Seine, returned to the sector from boxes. The order did not change.

Since we have seen, Donington kept surprises to each return and the passage of the cars, added to a brief halting of rain, formed a dry track in the track, and those that had grooved tires wasted time and wore away their rubbers excessively.
Again to pits, and now there would be problems in box of McLaren: The Seine had a fault in the starting system and the equipment could not avoid that the Brazilian lost twenty valuable seconds… Prost and Hill already were safe in end. Another 1-2 more fixed era. That believed.

A storm untied on Donington when arriving at three quarters of race. Hill and Prost returned to boxes to place pneumatic grooved: it was the sixth time. But this time, rain was too much, and the same Ayrton decided to pause, hoping that its equipment was ready in boxes. Surprise. When happening through his pit noticed that they were just beginning to remove rubbers…
Obvious they were not preparations to receive it. So Ayrton decided to follow by pit lane without pausing. It would not return to happen through the street from boxes.
Again its control in a flooded track, and with smooth tires was shining, perfect, as much so until it managed to remove more differences to him to Hill, arriving at both minutes and removing a humiliating return to its eternal Prost rival.
Without no error, the Seine was going to complete the one that today considers its better action in Formula 1, after realizing several feats: it had passed four cars in the first return, between which three future world-wide champions like Hill and Schumacher included themselves, or that already it had been like Prost, being first. Soon slicks had had the cold mind not to commit errors under a torrential rain with tires, and even so to remove more from a minute to very the superior Williams Renault de Hill and a return tetracampeón Alain Prost. A simply superb action.
