The 2003 are a year that could finish with the Champ Car, due to its economic problems. For that reason, it is very important we review that it of the best form: it can be last or the one of the last times that we see Champ Car.
The truth, is that Paul Tracy did not have serious rivals in the championship.
When being only the Ford mark in the Champ Car, the equipment that had had east motor before, had a clear advantage. Team Player's was one of them, since motor had it to the Ford for many years.

After 13 seasons and 209 races in the series, Paul Tracy obtained his first title

The results were not made hope, and obtained his first victory in the fourth date, in Brands Hatch in front of their teammate… which soon they would follow Lautzring and Cleveland, to close the year of round way like Novice of the Year and quarter in the general to 67 points of Tracy.

Michel Jourdain was without doubts the more successful Mexican representative of year 2003

Mexican, the flying one of the Rahal equipment, it completed a perfect year, fighting by the first places of the championship thanks to his victories in Milwaukee and Montreal. Deserved a third position in the general to only 31 points of Paul Tracy and to 4 of Junqueira, the second, awarded its excellent performance.
Without doubts he will be a candidate to the title for season 2004.
Mario Domínguez, also walked very well. Gaining a victory in Miami, third parties places in City of Mexico and Brands Hatch, besides a second place in which it only arrived at 0,084 seconds of Bourdais after a spectacular wheel wheel, although Mario received a penalty of 5 seconds by blockade to Bourdais in the first returns.
For his second year, it was seen a mature and much more effective Domínguez, with better results and finishing in fabulous a sixth position, to 105 points of Tracy.

Serbian Oriol continues progressing and reaping good results. Still it needs to win

The Catalan Serbian Oriol obtained a solid seventh position after Domínguez in a good championship for with Patrick Racing. It obtained three podios and it finished to 118 points of Tracy.
Surely also he will be a candidate to consider in the 2004.
Adrián Fernandez, with its own equipment had another season within Top 10, with a victory in Portland. Eighth finished, to 121 points of Paul Tracy.
Also it competed in the Champ Car, the Mexican Rodolfo originating Lavín of the Atlantic Formula.
18° to 210 points of Tracy had an acceptable debut with Corona Walker Racing finishing.
It will have to continue taking experience to be more ahead.
González Robert, also competed in some races, with a better result in 10° obtained in the circuit Brother Rodriguez.

The Briton Darren Manning played a great role and culminated ninth in the championship of pilots
