The 2003 are a year that could finish with the Champ Car, due to its economic problems. For that reason, it is very important we review that it of the best form: it can be last or the one of the last times that we see Champ Car.
The truth, is that Paul Tracy did not have serious rivals in the championship.
When being only the Ford mark in the Champ Car, the equipment that had had east motor before, had a clear advantage. Team Player's was one of them, since motor had it to the Ford for many years.

Adrián Fernandez, with its own equipment had another season within Top 10, with a victory in Portland. Eighth finished, to 121 points of Paul Tracy.
Also it competed in the Champ Car, the Mexican Rodolfo originating Lavín of the Atlantic Formula.
18° to 210 points of Tracy had an acceptable debut with Corona Walker Racing finishing.
