Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson stayed back during two thirds of UAW-Ford 500 in the Talladega Superspeedway of Sunday and lacking only seven returns they went quickly to the front to finish in first and secondly in a crazy race to the picture flag.
Gordon, tetracampeón and the Johnsons, the defending champion of NASCAR, kept the best thing from them for the end when both pilots were united and literally they attacked the front of the saved group in the end.
It was a typical end of every one to his in Talladega, when 320 cars to Km/h (200 miles) aligned run side to side for the last one.
Tony Stewart, who did everything what could to win, was eliminated of this bullfight the line after leading many of the final returns. It finished in eighth.

The race of Joe Nemechek finished in return 85 when problems with sent it to the motor to the garage.
In return 88, Waltrip took the leadership. A return later, its coequipero, David Reutimann, novice, took the leadership and the pilots in four persecution went three and side to side, in a typical race at full speed and without miramientos in Talladega.

With triumph 80 in his race in Glass NEXTEL of NASCAR, Jeff Gordon one seizes of the leadership in the scores of the championship, nine points in front of Johnson. Low Johnson to the second place and Bowyer is in third party to 63 points. In quarter, Stewart is to 154 points of the leadership, whereas Harvick, in fifth place, is to 202 points of Gordon.
