Jimmie Johnson took the leadership when it counted Sunday in the Richmond International Raceway to gain the race to 400 returns of Glass NEXTEL of NASCAR.
Johnson ran near the end during the sunny afternoon and took the leadership shortly after a resumption when they were 20 returns to dispute itself.
A multitude of more than 110.000 spectators saw the coequipero of Johnson, Jeff Gordon to originally lead most of first half of this event that was posponed and was programmed for Saturday at night.
