Nascar
20 of Julio

Jimmie Johnson demonstrated that he is an excellent strategist, conserving combustible of intelligent way until remaining with the greater prize in the New Hampshire International Speedway.
Johnson, on board a Chevrolet Montecar it, ahead captured the leadership of the race with 46 returns, conserving sufficient fuel as to contain the wild attack of another Chevrolet, the one of Kevin Harvick.
“After I took the leadership, I had to be very kind to the rear view mirror because the pressure of Harvick was very strong. Very I am satisfied with the used strategy, because it has not been pure chance that I arrived at the end of the race. I had sufficient fuel like fighting with Harvick and perhaps to give some returns more”, explained Johnson.
Behind both Chevrolet de Johnson and Harvick, it arrived the Ford of Matt Kenseth. The leader of the match struck a hard blow to his nearer rivals in the championship, since with this result they are the 234 points distance that it of Gordon.
For Matt Kenseth this it is the best result since he conquered the leadership of the championship at the beginning of March. “It has been a quite funny race”, explained Matt. “The car has behaved very well but we did not have a good position in the track like fighting by the victory. To have finished in front of all rivals in the championship is most important for me. We must follow by this way, to be modest and to make the things good to secure our objective”, said Matt talking about to the clear objective to become champion of the series.
Ryan Newman, winner of the last race of the Winston series, classified quarter whereas the Chevrolet de Robby did it to Gordon in fifth. On the other hand Earnhardt Junior arrived now sixth being located at 237 points of Kenseth.
Gordon, that had the most competitive car of the day and led 133 returns, finished 24º after pausing compulsorily in pits. Gordon was very far from its pretensions to shorten distance to the pilot of Ford, Matt Kenseth.
“Very I am disappointed. The yellow flags conspired in ours against. I made a call to place four new tires when I saw that all remained outside pits, wise person who this way would gain the race. When I placed the tires the pressure of the same was very high and that harmed to me enormously. He is frustrating to have a so competitive car and to ruin everything by a game of tires …”, adding, “In spite of all I feel satisfied with which Jimmie (Johnson) has taken the triumph, but as for me I am devastated”, said a Gordon without consolation.
The key of the race occurred to 96 turns of the end when the yellow flag fluttered in the New Hampshire International Speedway. About fifteen cars decided not to pause in pits, whereas Harvick and the Johnsons chose to pause risking to that this would be its last fuel refreshment.
A pair of yellow flags more benefitted to Harvick and the Johnsons that managed to conserve sufficient fuel without returning to pause.
The NASCAR will travel the next Sunday to the city of Pocono, to dispute Pennsylvania 500.
