Tony Stewart was able to recover after one lasts season, taking the UAW-GM Quality 500 in the Motor Lowe's Speedway.
The champion secured to his second triumph of the year, in one season saw that it leave in five occasions. Stewart now is seventh in the championship to 636 points of Kenseth.
Stewart counted on the most competitive car of the day, although on the end it had to battle with Ryan Newman finally to adjudge the triumph.
