The French Sebastien Bourdais recovered of a shock with Canadian Paul Tracy and of a duel closed with his companion of escudería, to gain the Hurricane Relief 400 of Fertile valleys, of the series Champ Car, Saturday at night.
Tracy, that released in 14º site, escaped to Bourdais, that started first, in the seventh return. The ex- champion conserved the end in spite of the pressure of Bourdais, but a blow between the French and the Canadian initiated a dispute not only in the track but in pits. Bourdais struck the single-seater of the Canadian when they fought by the first position around return 123.
The contact caused that the car of Tracy lost the control and was hit against the retaining wall, destroying half of the vehicle. Tracy said by the radio that had struck it to Sebastien intentionally. The situation took place just when Tracy changed its trajectory of race to enter to pits.
The lawsuit did not remain there and the owner of the square where the Mexican Mario Domínguez militates Canadian and, Gerald Forsythe, went to pit of the Newman/Haas square to demand to Carl Haas by the attitude of the French and monarch to him of 2004.
