“First that nothing, feels incredible”, said Auberlen. ” (The triumph) he arrived before which he hoped. He knew that we had a curve of learning with the car. The equipment had a learning curve, had to be united. Everything is happening so fast. Now we have a good program of motors and everything is well, so that gaining this, is one of the best victories than I have obtained. Also she has been one of the fights harder than I have had by the victory ".“With regard to the advancement to Angelelli in the resumption before that, I was much more fast who he, but was as if he handled in his mirrors. He does not matter to where he went, there was. He was like: “I cannot happen so I must make me invisible.” If you put to right a Daytona Prototype behind another one, verte cannot. I put myself just behind him where it knew that it could not see me, I hoped by its lights of braking, and when a second restrained I was right further on. It was much for him. It had done if it, we had had to hit. I advanced it and the car was strong ".For Alhadeff, that handled the first 21 returns before giving the car to Auberlen during second of the seven yellow flags of the day, he was his first victory in a professional race. For Alhadeff (25) this was his eighth race in the Daytona Prototypes and the 26 in the Rolex Series, in a race that began in 2005. “This he is one of the most important days of my life”, said Alhadeff. “I feel so contented by all my equipment and my family and my same one. We have worked so it last to obtain this. A pair of times we have there been and one has escaped to us for some reason. Now, we obtained finally it. It was a deserved good end because at the outset we battled with some things that happened in the track and with a shutdown in pits that was not so huge. Simply they did all it. Bill Auberlen, that man is incredible”.

Something that is interesting is that machine no. 10 never has gained a race in which has taken from pole position. “Obvious, I feel very contented by the equipment”, said Magnussen. “By a time it seemed that we were going to gain this race, but Bill was very hard in the end and happened to Max after the resumption of return 80. From my point of view, I did not make so many returns in this race, but I had a good one started and I secured a little advantage. All the others were fighting behind mine. I had a clean race. My car today was simply very good. Soon I went it to Max and was a really exciting race until the end”.Angelelli led 15 returns before surrendering before Auberlen. It is the tenth consecutive race in which Angelelli and Magnussen finish within the five first positions and the result allows them to be located to a point of the leader of the Daytona Prototypes, Scott Pruett (92-93). “I enjoyed the race”, said Angelelli. “That are the races of Grand-A.m. You cannot rest by a minute or they advance to you. Bill really made a movement fantastic. It really surprised to me. When I saw it could not believe it. If it had known had closed the door, with certainty, I did since it before. He knew that he really hard had a car in the two first returns (resumption) and I really did not have it. One hid behind my car in means and he could not see them in my rear view mirrors, he did so it really well. The race was difficult for all. When handling behind other Daytona Prototypes my car was really difficult to lead. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed all the race”.
