The Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya has gained a death victory in the quickest track of Monza, after having serious problems in his left back tire, that was on the verge of in the last disintegrating turns of the test.
As it comes happening in the last races from the maximum category, the McLaren Mercedes has been literally unattainable during all the Italian day, dominating the deprived sessions of training, and all the official sessions of the race.
Juan Pablo won for the second time in Monza, the same track that gave his first victory him in a world-wide one of F1. In that one occasion of 2001, the Colombian also dominated plenary session
The maximum favorite for the victory, the Finn Kimi Räikkönen, underwent two hard reverses during the weekend. The day Saturday in the morning once again to its betrayed it motor, condemning it to back down ten places in grilla to begin with. In the middle of race the hopes of Kimi to almost gain the test were in their maximum apogee after coming off themselves many rivals, even of Fernando Alonso, who managed to retain it by a pair of turns after his first halting in boxes.
Räikkönen got rid of the Spanish in the second baffle plate and advanced until being placed to the tail of his coequiper Montoya before its first resupply. But Kimi did not lower the arms, and from the fifth position it continued forcing to the maximum to exceeding it to the Toyota of Jarno Trulli. Alonso reduced the distance with Montoya of 11 to 2 seconds in very few turns, but the Colombian used one's wits them to safeguard the life utility of his tire and to cross the goal enough.
For Juan Pablo this victory became second since it competes for McLaren, sixth of his file, and third in Monza, a track that evidently the Colombian dominates like anybody.

“It is a great victory in Monza here, especially after a very exciting race. I had a clean exit maintaining the clean line and arriving at the first curve without problems.
