Escudería BMW Sauber presented/displayed its pilots, the German Nick Heidfeld and the Canadian Jacques Villeneuve, and to the single-seater that will lead during world-wide championship 2006 of Formula 1.
In the ceremony of presentation of the machine, that took place in the City of the Arts and Sciences of Valencia, they were present both titular pilots, the Canadian Jacques Villeneuve and the German Nick Heidfeld, and the substitute, the Pole Robert Kubica.
Villeneuve is one of the few survivors of the “staff” of the Sauber equipment, on which escudería is born now new, after the announced decision the 22 of June by BMW to buy escudería Swiss and to undertake an independent way, ending five years of collaboration with Williams (it provided his motors to him).
Mario Theissen will direct the new equipment BMW Sauber F1 Team.
